FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTERS, DRIVERS, AND COMPANY OFFICERS FOR 24/48 SHIFT 

MUST MEET MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ELIGIBILITY (SEE BELOW)

Compensation:

Firefighter: January 2022 - $51,660 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime)

Firefighter (after 1 year of employment): January 2022 - $54,700 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime)

Firefighter (after 2 years of employment): January 2022 - $56,220 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime)

Driver: January 2022 - $60,780 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime)

Driver: (after 1 year of employment): January 2022 - $62,480 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime) 

Driver: (after 2 years of employment): January 2022 - $64,000 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime) 

Company Officer: January 2022 - $68,377 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime)

Company Officer (after 1 year of employment): January 2022 - $69,897 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime) 

Company Officer (after 2 years of employment): January 2022 - $71,416 annually (includes base pay and regularly occurring FLSA estimated overtime)

Firefighter Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 Years Old or Older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of a TCFP Basic Structural Fire Suppression Certification
  • Preferred 2 continuous years of  full-time experience with a TCFP regulated Department
  • Obtained a Courage to be Safe Certification
  • Obtained a Federal Highway Administration Traffic Incident Management Certification
  • Minimum of a Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) EMT-B
  • Minimum NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 Certification
  • Preferred Valid Texas Class B driver’s license

Driver Minimum Qualifications:

  • 21 Years Old or Older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of a TCFP Basic Structural Fire Suppression Certification; and TCFP DOP Certification
  • Preferred 4 continuous years of full-time experience with a TCFP regulated Department
